Welcome
The attack on Chicago's Walking Man in May of 2022 highlights the risks faced daily by America's homeless population. Street violence is not the only danger. Laws that criminalize homelessness are common in cities and states around the country. This issue of Plum Tree Tavern seeks to give a face to the unseen and a voice to the unheard.
